Kamiakin 55, Mt. Spokane 52 (highlights in video): The Mt. Spokane boys got close multiple times to overcoming Kamiakin in the second half but could never get it done. Mt. Spokane gets one last shot to advance to regionals on Saturday. They will play Kennewick at 1:45 PM. Mt. Spokane beat Kennewick by 26 points earlier in the playoffs.

Championship

Central Valley 68, Gonzaga Prep 53 (highlights in video): Central Valley never let Gonzaga Prep get close to them as they won the 4A boys GSL-MCC Championship. Gavin Gilstrap led the way for the Bears with 21 points. Gonzaga Prep will play Chiawana at 5:15 on Saturday with a bid to regionals on the line. The Bullpups beat Chiawana earlier in the playoffs 68-56.

Central Valley 55, Mead 53, OT (highlights in video): The Mead and Central Valley girls went to overtime before the Bears gutted out a two point 4A GSL-MCC title game win. CV’s Peyton Howard led all scorers with 19. Mead plays Chiawana on Saturday at 3:30 with a spot in state regionals on the line.

Prairie 47, Grace 42 (highlights in video): Prairie trailed for all of the second half until the final minute when India Perry hit a three to give them a 43-40 lead. They’ll play Lapwai Saturday at 10:30 in the state championship.

Timberlake 66, Parma 35 (highlights in video): Timberlake’s Brooke Jessen obliterated Parma scoring 28 points, while the Tigers defense was just as impressive allowing just nine points combined between the second and third quarter. Timberlake will play Snake River in the 3A state championship Saturday at 2:50 PT.

5A IEL Semifinals

Post Falls 60, Lake City 44 (highlights in video): Post Falls only allowed Lake City to score 13 points in the second half as they advanced the the 5A IEL Championship. They will play against Lewiston at home on Wednesday at 6:30 in the 5A IEL Championship.

Lewiston 41, Coeur d'Alene 39 (highlights in video): Coeur d’Alene had a shot to tie it up in the final seconds but Lewiston held on. They will play at Post Falls on Wednesday at 6:30 in the chipper.
