SPOKANE, Wash. — It'll be here a couple days before the official start of spring, but no complaints as warm, spring weather arrives in Spokane and the Inland Northwest just in time for the St. Patrick's Day weekend!
Forecasted high temperatures are expected to be in the low 60s both Saturday and Sunday with mostly sunny skies both days. There is zero chance for any precipitation too, making this one of the most confident, no-doubt long range forecasts we have been able to predict in recent memory.
St. Patrick's Day parade attendees will love the weather as temperatures will be in the 50s by noon on Saturday and hit the 60s during the afternoon. Locations in central Washington will be pushing 70 degrees for the first time this year with nearly everyone hitting at least 60 degrees over the weekend or early next week.
The last time Spokane hit 60 degrees was on October 22nd, 2023 - about five months ago. The last 70 degree day was two days earlier on October 20th.
The Spring Equinox is Tuesday, March 19th at 8:06pm PDT.
As the groundhog would tell you, "Spring is coming soon!"
