A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect across parts of Northeastern Washington and North Idaho through Monday morning due to the continued potential of light freezing rain and snow. Temperatures in the Spokane area and elsewhere across the region have warmed above freezing and mainly seen rain.
An active weather pattern is expected this week which will bring more valley rain and mountain snow. Highs will climb into the upper 30s and low 40s, and even overnight lows will remain at or above freezing. Up to a half inch of rain could fall when the week closes out.
