SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Body camera footage released by the Spokane County Sheriff's Office shows the moment two people narrowly escaped a house fire with the help of deputies.

It happened along North Bowman Road in Spokane Valley on Monday morning.

The smoke from the fire alerted nearby sheriff's deputies who arrived around 3:40 a.m. to find the porch of a mobile home on fire.

The video shows one deputy crossing the porch and stepping around flames before he starts ushering two adults out of the house. As the video continues, smoke fills the inside of the home.

By the time both deputies are out of the house, the building is completely engulfed in flames.

No one was hurt, but the fire destroyed the house and damaged a neighboring home.

Spokane Valley Fire Department crews were able to extinguish the fire, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. It is unclear what caused the fire.
