Spokane firefighters responded to a call early Wednesday morning about a camper van fire.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane firefighters responded to a call around 2:55 a.m. about a camper van fire near the 5200 block of North Bemis Street.

According to fire officials, a neighbor called in the fire and when crews arrived they found the camper fully engulfed in flames. After putting the fire out, firefighters found an adult man dead inside the camper.

Firefighters were able to stop the fire before it jumped to the adjacent home.

Crews determined the cause of the fire to be an electrical failure.
