February 13 Special Election Results for Spokane County | Early Returns

Early returns show that the Spokane Public Schools levy, Proposition 1, is currently passing. The Mead School District's levy is also currently passing.

SPOKANE, Wash. — It's Election Day in Washington, with several school districts in Eastern Washington having levies, replacement levies and bonds on the ballot. 

School levies need a simple majority of the vote to pass, while bonds require 60% approval and 40% of voters from the prior general election for validation.

Election Results:

Central Valley School District

  • Proposition No. 1 (Levy): 51.72% Yes, 48.28% No
  • Proposition No. 2 (Levy): 51.35% Yes, 48.65% No

Cheney School District

  • Proposition No. 1 (Levy): 55.13% Yes, 44.87% No
  • Proposition No. 2 (Bond): 53.82% Yes, 46.18% No
  • Proposition No. 3 (Levy): 57.94% Yes, 42.06% No

Deer Park School District

  • Proposition No. 1 (Levy): 56.39% Yes, 43.61% No
  • Proposition No. 2 (Bond): 51.72% Yes, 48.28% No

East Valley School District

  • Proposition No. 1 (Levy): 52.46% Yes, 47.54% No

Mead School District

  • Proposition No. 1 (Levy): 51.71% Yes, 48.29% No

Riverside School District

  • Proposition No. 1 (Levy): 55.03% Yes, 44.97% No
  • Proposition No. 2 (Bond): 50.57% Yes, 49.43% No

Spokane School District

  • Proposition No. 1 (Levy): 54.69% Yes, 45.31% No
  • Proposition No. 2 (Bond): 54.36% Yes, 45.64% No

West Valley School District

  • Proposition No. 1 (Levy): 54.46% Yes, 45.54% No
  • Proposition No. 2 (Bond): 50.10% Yes, 49.90% No
