Crews working to contain small wildfire in Stevens County

Stevens County firefighters responded to a fire started near Daisy Boat Launch.

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — Stevens County firefighters spent the night watching over a wildfire that sparked near the Daisy Boat Launch, south of Kettle Falls.

The fire burned about 5 acres, and crews say that the progress is positive.

According to Stevens County Emergency Management, the fire was started by fireworks. 

The fire is currently not threatening any structures.
