Missing Indigenous Person last seen in Omak found

OMAK, Wash. — Washington State Patrol has located a missing Indigenous Person, Whitney Flett.

WSP was asking for help finding Flett, sending an alert to the public requestion information on here whereabouts. That same alert has since been canceled.

Flett is 35 years old, five feet and six inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Officials say she was last seen on July 1 at around 4 p.m. leaving her home in Omak and was assumed to be heading towards an Omak Walmart.

She was last seen wearing a black crop top, blue or black jean shorts and sandals.

Flett's car was also seen between Okanogan and Omak on July 4 around 9 a.m.

Her car is a 2013 Black Dodge Avenger Sedan with a Washington plate reading: CME2807.

WSP asked anyone with information on Flett or Flett's location to call 911 and reference Case#: 241343.

This Missing Indigenous Person Alert was activated on behalf of the Colville Tribal Police Department.
