CUSICK, Wash. — Beginning on Monday, July 8, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crews will be working on the southbound lane of SR 20 north of Newport.
The maintenance crews will be applying protective chip seal wheel ruts along a ten-mile stretch of the road during the weeks of Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12 and the following Monday, July 15 through Thursday, July 18.
WSDOT says the road work during both weeks will take place between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., depending on weather conditions.
During these times, travelers can expect one-way alternating traffic led by a pilot car and delays of up to 15 minutes.
