SPOKANE, Wash. — The man found dead in a West Central neighborhood street earlier this week has been identified.
According to the Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office, the man was identified as 32-year-old Niket Everett. Both his cause and manner of death are still pending.
Spokane Police responded to reports of a person lying in the street near Pettet Drive and Augusta on Tuesday morning. When the fire department and police arrived, they found an adult man dead in the street.
At the time of the accident, Spokane Police Public Information Officer Nick Briggs said the incident may have been a hit-and-run, but they are still early in their investigation and nothing has been confirmed yet.
