SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police responded to reports of a person lying in the street near Pettet Drive and Augusta on Tuesday morning.
When the fire department and police arrived, they found an adult male dead in the street.
Spokane Police PIO Nick Briggs said the incident may have been a hit-and-run, but they are still early in their investigation so nothing has been confirmed yet.
Pettet Drive at Augusta was closed for several hours so police can finish their investigation.
