Spokane police look for passengers of car seen leaving downtown shooting

Police said a surveillance camera at the intersection caught photos of a vehicle leaving the scene moments after the men were shot at 1:20 a.m.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane police are looking for help in identifying the passengers in a car involved in a shooting in Downtown Spokane on July 13.

Two Eastern Washington University football players, Dehonta Hayes and Keith Moore, were injured in the shooting near the intersection of Division and Main. They have since been released from the hospital.

Police said a surveillance camera at the intersection caught photos of a vehicle leaving the scene moments after the men were shot at 1:20 a.m.

Detectives are trying to identify the people inside the car.

Anyone with information regarding that incident or the occupants of the pictured vehicle is asked to call the Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Unit though Crime Check at 456-2233.
