MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. — A young girl who was killed in Medical Lake over the weekend will be remembered by friends, family and the community at a candlelight vigil this week.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner identified the girl as 11-year-old Lilea Stolworthy. She was tragically killed in Medical Lake on Sunday; now, her best friend's family is holding a memorial to remember all of the wonderful things about her.
The vigil will take place at Wilcox Park in Medical Lake on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. Anyone who wants to attend is welcome and candles will be available for those who would like them. The mother of Lilea's best friend said the vigil is happening with permission from her family.
