SPOKANE, Wash. — The Glove himself, Gary Payton, will be at Hoopfest 2024.

Those looking to meet the Seattle Supersonics legend can find him at the Dick's Sporting Goods tent Saturday at 1 p.m. signing photos and he will then be a judge for the dunk contest at 2 p.m.

Payton played as a point guard in the NBA for 17 years after being selected as the 2nd overall pick in the 1990 draft. Alongside Shawn Kemp, the two formed the "Sonic Boom" and rewrote basketball history in the Pacific Northwest. He spent his college career in Corvallis at Oregon State University.  He was named the PAC-10 player of the year in 1990.

The nine time NBA All-Star won his only NBA championship in 2006 as a member of the Miami Heat.
