SPOKANE, Wash. — The city of Spokane has enacted its third full city plow for the 2022 winter season.

Several inches of snow fell throughout the day. According to a press release from the city of Spokane, crews worked on main routes and arterials throughout Tuesday night and are now working on Priority 2 streets. This includes residential areas.

According to the city, more plows will work to clear streets on Wednesday morning. Spokane officials said the full city plow would take at least three days to complete once it stops snowing. The completion of the city snow plow also depends on weather conditions.

Kirstin Davis with the City of Spokane said the city's 311 line is currently overwhelmed with numerous requests to help shovel snow off sidewalks and driveways.

The city's Plow Progress Map is available online and tracks the progress being made on both residential and public streets. Residents can track which roads are completed, in progress, or next on the list to be plowed.

To access the map:

  • Visit the city of Spokane's website and click on the Snow Removal Map
  • Use the navigation bar in the upper left-hand corner to find your area.
  • Once there, use the key below the map to determine where crews stand on snow removal.
