SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Dust storms have caused low visibility for travelers on I-90 and US-395 throughout Eastern Washington on Monday.
Many travelers have posted photos to social media of low visibility conditions caused by dust storms and smoke in Eastern Washington. A Dust Storm Watch is in effect for I-90 and US-395 until 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
At least seven wildfires throughout Washington and Idaho have started amid windy and dry conditions on Monday.
At least one KREM viewer said they were forced to turnaround on SR 17 before getting stuck on Sr 395 earlier today.
