Weather Forecast
The coldest temperatures of winter are upon us. The arctic airmass is settling over the U.S. starting with us here in the Inland Northwest. Actual temps will fall below zero with wind chill values approaching -35 degrees in the days to come.
Wind chill warnings are in place from Central Washington to Montana in anticipation of the bitter cold "feels like" temperatures. Wind chill values will drop to -10 to -35 across the Inland Northwest. That includes Spokane where the forecast feels like temps will be about -30 degrees Saturday morning.
The light at the end of the tunnel is in sight. Starting Monday our afternoon highs will climb into the double digits (above zero)! By the end of next week those temps will soar back to seasonal norms, which is already above freezing this time of year.
