Landspout tornado spotted near Wilbur, WA airport

The National Weather Service Spokane has confirmed no damage from the tornado.

WILBUR, Wash. — The National Weather Service (NWS) Spokane has confirmed that a landspout tornado was spotted Monday near the Wilbur, Wash. airport during a severe thunderstorm. 

The NWS says the tornado touched down two miles west-southwest of the airport. 

The size of the tornado and time spent on the ground have not been confirmed. The NWS has not reported any damage from the tornado.
