SPOKANE, Wash. — This quiet weather pattern will persist through the holiday weekend into early next week. Saturday will be cloudy to start, with patchy fog/freezing fog possible in the morning. We do have the potential for a few peeks of sunshine tomorrow afternoon and even a better chance on Sunday. The weather pattern would lean towards a sunnier scenario, but the time of year with its low sun angle, light winds, and lots of low level moisture mean that the low clouds might be hard to scour out. With or without sun, the weekend will be dry, and near average temperatures are expected with highs in the middle and upper 30s. Travel around the entire Pacific Northwest should be nearly entirely rain/snow free.
Looking ahead into next week, it doesn't look like our next chance of precipitation comes until next Thursday. A slight warming trend brings the possibility that we could see rain and/or snow out of the next system, though it'd be all snow in the mountains.
