SPOKANE, Wash. — It's the tail of two days and two unique events in Spokane this weekend. Expo '74's 50th Celebration and the 48th running of Bloomsday.
Saturday's weather will be warm for the Expo '74 celebration. It's the warmest day of the forecast with highs near 70 degrees! There's some cloud cover circulation over western Washington that does start to move in, so it'll be mostly cloudy with increasing cloud cover, but that doesn't stop the temperatures of climbing.
Sunday's weather is completely rainy and cold for Bloomsday. A storm system that comes out of Alaska and the North Pacific slams through bringing the first rain late Saturday night with temperatures taking a nose dive. Sunday morning is likely the wettest timeframe with temperatures in the mid 40s. The afternoon doesn't look much better. If it stops raining, it'll be in the upper 40s, otherwise it'll stay colder.
