A wet Saturday will be followed by drier conditions Sunday

After a brief break from the rain Sunday, wet weather returns Monday

SPOKANE, Wash. — Though we haven't seen the last of the rain, the weekend is not looking like a complete wash-out.  Steady rain is expected to continue through Saturday morning.  The weather turns more showery on Saturday afternoon, but should dry out by Saturday evening.  If you have outdoor work to get done, Sunday is looking like a dry day outside of the mountains.  We may even enjoy some afternoon sunshine.  Another round of rain returns on Monday, and there is still a chance for additional rain showers (and mountain snow) heading into next Tuesday. Afterwards it looks like we'll finally see a stretch of dry days Wednesday through Friday of next week.

A Winter Storm Warning continues for Washington, Loup Loup, and Sherman Pass, where an additional 2-5 inches of snow is expected through Saturday morning.  Lookout Pass could see 2-5 inches of snow Saturday into Sunday.

With all this wet weather we're not seeing much fluctuation in temperatures.  Highs will range from the middle and upper 40s over the next week.
