SPOKANE, Wash — US 195 south of Hatch Road is reopen Thursday morning after being closed for an hour after a boulder fell into the middle of the road.
In a tweet, WSDOT compared the boulder to the one in the movie ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark.’
WSDOT says the rockslide happened shortly before 1 a.m. Crews used a snowplow truck and front loader to move the boulder.
The roadway was reopened around 2 a.m.
