PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State Patrol (WSP) is investigating a deadly two-car crash near Pullman.
WSP said the crash happened on Highway 270 at Airport Road, seven miles east of Pullman.
According to WSP, the crash was initially reported as a serious injury collision, but it was later changed to a fatal crash.
According to WSP, a car was turning from Garrison Road onto westbound Highway 270 when it was hit by another car traveling eastbound.
Highway 270 in the area was blocked, and WSP said there was one eastbound lane letting traffic through in the area. WSP said WSDOT was also on the scene setting up a detour onto Airport Road.
WSP also said neither drugs nor alcohol were involved in the crash. WSP said the cause of the crash was failure to yield.
