GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — Westbound I-90 is back open in Grant County after a semi rolled over on Thursday morning.
I-90 was blocked for several hours between milepost 188 and 192, about 15 miles east of Moses Lake. Traffic was rerouted onto adjacent county roads near Warden, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Traffic had been blocked in both directions of I-90 at one point, but eastbound lanes reopened shortly after 7 a.m. Westbound lanes reopened around 11 a.m.
During the morning commute, a traffic map from (WSDOT) showed westbound traffic backed up into Adams County. Traffic heading eastbound was slow leaving Moses Lake and approaching the crash site.
It is still not clear what caused the semi to roll over. WSP said no one was hurt.
Also in Grant County, another crash involving a tractor-trailer closed Basin Street (SR 28) in Ephrata on Thursday morning for about two hours. The road is now open.
According to the Washington State Patrol Twitter post, the truck rolled over, and it is believed it was caused by a medical issue.
A photo from Washington State Patrol shows a logging truck on its side, with logs spilled onto the road.
