Spokane Public Works updated Maple Street Bridge closures for November 1-2

Drivers are being encouraged to use alternate routes on Monroe, Washington, and Division Streets.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Road work crews on the Maple Street Bridge are getting ready to switch lane closures on Wednesday. The changes come as crews are completing bridge joint repairs ahead of schedule.

Because of this there will be some changes in traffic on the bridge. Those changes include:

  • ALL northbound lanes will be closed 6 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1.
  • At approximately 1 p.m. one lane northbound will open and remain open.
  • All southbound lanes will be closed from approximately 1 p.m. Wednesday until 6 p.m.
  • One lane in each direction will be open after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1
  • All southbound lanes will be closed 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2.

Drivers are being encouraged to use alternate routes on Monroe, Washington, and Division Streets. The project is on track to be completed ahead of the expected mid-November time frame.
