SPOKANE, Wash — All lanes are now open after a multi-vehicle collision on westbound I-90 at milepost 286.
The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. near milepost 284, just east of the Freya/Thor interchange, which involved two semi-trucks and multiple other vehicles. A Honda Odyssey went underneath one of the semi-trucks with another car stacked on top of it.
According to Washington State Patrol (WSP), at least one person was injured during the crash but the injuries are not life-threatening. No deaths have been reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
I-90 was closed for over three hours while crews worked to clear the freeway of debris and remove vehicles from the scene. As of 1 p.m. the freeway was back open and traffic was flowing freely.
