VANTAGE, Wash. — If you want to take the trip to Seattle for the Apple Cup this weekend, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) recommends you plan for extra commute time.

According to WSDOT, the Vantage Bridge will be reduced to one lane in both directions as crews replace its deck. WSDOT said drivers on I-90 across the bridge may add several hours to their commute.

WSDOT is asking drivers to consider alternative routes if they are planning on going to the game this weekend.

WSDOT also said fire activity near Wenatchee could also cause some delays to your commute.

Here is how much extra time WSDOT said you should plan on traveling if you're driving in the area:

  • Seattle to Spokane - One extra hour of travel
  • Olympia to Spokane - One extra hour of travel
  • Everett to Spokane - Extra 30 minutes of travel
  • Cle Elum to Spokane - One extra hour of travel
  • Yakima to Spokane - Extra 12 minutes of travel
  • Ellensburg to Spokane - Extra hour and 12 minutes of travel
  • Yakima to Wenatchee - Usual travel times
