METALINE FALLS, Wash. — If you plan on driving on Highway 31 to cross the Slate Creek Bridge near Metaline Falls for the next two weeks, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) says you will probably need to make some changes to your commute.

WSDOT said maintenance crews with WSDOT will repair the bridge pier caps and expansion joints for the next two weeks.

WSDOT said the bridge will be reduced to one lane from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12 and again on Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19.

WSDOT said the work will take place between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

WSDOT said you should expect delays and plan ahead as crews work to repair the bridge.
