Mudslide damage left behind from rainfall in North Cascades

NORTH CASCADE, Wash. — A mudslide has covered around 100 feet of Highway 20 following rain in the North Cascades on Sunday.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said clean-up will take at least two days. 

WSDOT said the mudslide is inside the Easy Fire closure, and they are working to clear the damage left from the mudslide.

WSDOT said it will reevaluate conditions on Wednesday, August 14.
