SEATTLE — The chance to see an "out of this world" space habitat is in Seattle.
The Museum of Flight's "Home Beyond Earth" exhibit just got bigger with the addition of the TESSERAE Space Habitat Pavilion.
The 20-foot high dome pavilion is a full-scale mock-up of the TESSERAE self-assembling space habitat.
The co-founder and chief design officer at Aurelian Institute, Sana Sharma, said it was designed to sustain and enrich life in orbit.
Sharma stopped by the KING 5 studios to talk about the space habitat and the design.
