SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Velocity FC announced it will be hosting a friendly match at ONE Spokane Stadium against international opponent C.D. Guadalajara (Chivas) on Sunday, June 2 at 6 p.m.
The Chivas are a professional Mexican football club based in Jalisco, Mexico. The team competes in the top tier of Mexican football.
“Playing against a strong opponent tends to bring the best out in players so it'll be a fun yet valuable experience for the team, “said Leigh Veidman, Velocity FC Head Coach. “With us having a large break between matches it's really important for us to stay in a good rhythm of playing so we can continue to improve. Aside from that, it's always enjoyable to test yourself against high level opposition with a different style of play than we are used to.”

KREM 2 is excited to be part of the Spokane Velocity FC's inaugural season! The Spokane Velocity FC and KREM 2 have partnered to carry home games on KREM 2 and KSKN 22. Those matches will air live between now and September.

- Tuesday, 8/13/2024: Spokane Velocity vs. Northern Colorado Hailstorm, 6 p.m. PST on KSKN
KREM 2 will also be hosting a KREM 2 Night at a Velocity match during the season.
