SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Velocity will return to the pitch on Tuesday, August 13 against the Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC. The Velocity are battling for a spot in the playoffs and Tuesday’s match will be key as the Hailstorm sit above the Velocity in the standings.
Both the Velocity and the Hailstorm come into the game with 18 points through 12 games. The Hailstorm are above the Velocity in the standings due to the difference in goal differential.

Tuesday’s game will be the third time to two teams have played one another this season. The Velocity won the first match 1-0 and the Hailstorm took the second match by a score of 3-1.
