NEWARK, N.J. — The Seattle Kraken continue their east coast road trip on Friday taking on the New Jersey Devils. Friday’s game is the second game in two nights for the Kraken after taking on the New York Islanders on Thursday. Thursday's game will be televised on ESPN.
The Kraken have had a rough start to this season. They are in second to last place in the Pacific Division with 25 points only ahead of the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks.
New Jersey has had a hot start to the year totaling 36 points through 28 games, putting them in second place in the Metropolitan Division.
Friday’s game in New Jersey will be the third of five games in seven days for the Kraken.

You can watch Friday’s game between the Kraken and the Devils over the air in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region on KSKN 22 The Spot. The puck drops at the Prudential Center at 4 p.m. Pregame coverage begins at 3:30 p.m.
Seattle Kraken vs. New Jersey Devils
Friday’s game will be the first of two meetings between the Kraken and Devils. New Jersey is set to travel to Seattle to take on the Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena on January 6, 2025.
Seattle’s leading goal scorer and points leader is Jared McCann with 23 and Brandon Montour with 17.
New Jersey’s points leader is Jesper Bratt with 35 followed by Jack Hughes with 33 and Nico Hischier with 27.
Following Friday’s game, the Kraken will be back in action on Sunday in New York to take on the Rangers. That game will be shown on KSKN 22 The Spot.
