CHICAGO — The Seattle Kraken hit the road again later this week.
On Thursday, December 19, the Kraken hit the road for a four-game road trip. Finishing four of its last five games on the road this calendar year, the Kraken will start the road trip in the Windy City as they take on Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Before Thursday night's game against Chicago, the Kraken finished a four-game homestand with a matchup against the Ottawa Senators, falling 3-0. The Kraken also lost to the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers in a shootout, beat the Boston Bruins 5-1 and lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1. The Kraken finished the four-game homestand with a 1-3 record.
With five games left in 2024, the Kraken look to end the calendar year on a high with some wins before the start of the new year.

You can watch Thursday's game between the Kraken and the Blackhawks over the air in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region on KSKN 22 The Spot. The puck drops at the United Center in Chicago at 5:30 p.m. Pregame coverage begins at 5 p.m.

This is the second time the Kraken and Blackhawks will face off against each other this season. Thursday's matchup will be the second of three matchups this season. The next and final two matchups will be in Chicago. After Tuesday's game, the Kraken will return to the Windy City in mid-March.

Thursday's game will be the 11th time the two teams will play against each other in their history. The Kraken have beaten the Blackhawks seven times, having a record of 7-3 against the Blackhawks.
