How to watch the Seattle Kraken game against the Minnesota Wild

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — The 2024-25 hockey season is officially underway, and the Seattle Kraken is looking for its first win of the season.

Coming off a 3-2 loss at home to the St. Louis Blues, the Kraken are hoping to bounce back on the road against the Minnesota Wild.

Puck drop is scheduled for 5 p.m. PST on Saturday, October 12, at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Kraken searching for win No. 1

Looking to start the season with a bang, the Kraken got off to a 2-0 lead in front of the fans at Climate Pledge Arena on Tuesday. Vince Dunn and Eeli Tolvanen scored the first two goals in the 2024-25 Kraken campaign in the second period.

The Blues, however, scored three goals in under two minutes later in the period. The five-goal second period was won by the Blues, sending the Kraken organization and its fans still waiting to celebrate its first win of the year.

Despite Tuesday night's loss, the Kraken out-shot the Blues 32-25, and outside of the less-than-two-minute stretch where they gave up all three goals, played a solid game.

The Kraken now look forward to Saturday's matchup with the Wild. The Kraken are 3-6 all-time against the Wild, with their most recent matchup ending with a 4-3 win for the Kraken.
