SEATTLE — The Seattle Kraken are back in action Saturday night as they prepare to take on the Carolina Hurricanes at home.

Coming off a 3-2 loss against the Colorado Avalanche Tuesday night, the Kraken are looking to get back into the win column Thursday night. Before the Kraken's loss Tuesday night, the team was on a three-game winning streak.

Seattle Kraken vs Carolina Hurricanes

This will be the first time the two teams will face off against each other this season. They will face each other again in Carolina in December.

The Hurricanes have played four games this season and are 2-2 so far. The Hurricanes lead the all-time series against the Kraken 4-2.

Jared McCann is leading the way for the Kraken with eight points, five of which are assists and the other three being goals. Jordan Eberle is currently the leading scorer for the Kraken with five goals.

For the Hurricanes, Sebastian Aho leads the way with four points, and Shayne Gostisbehere leads the way with three goals.

The Kraken are currently fourth in the Pacific Division in the Western Conference, whereas the Hurricanes are seventh in the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference.
