TORONTO, ON — The Seattle Kraken continue their swing through eastern Canada on Thursday when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team will look to keep the offense rolling after scoring eight goals on Tuesday in Montreal. Defenseman Brandon Montour also had his first career hat trick on Tuesday.
The Kraken have a 5-4-1- record and are in a three-way tie for third place in the Pacific Division with 11 points with the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames.
Thursday’s game is the second in three days and the second of a five-game in an eight-day stretch.

Thursday’s game between the two teams is the first of two meetings between the teams. The Kraken will host the Maple Leafs in Seattle on February 6, 2025.
The Maple Leafs have been pretty average through ten games. They have a 5-4-1 record and have scored 32 goals while also giving up 32 goals. They are in third place in the Atlantic Division, trailing the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Leafs come into Thursday’s game with one of the most top-heavy lineups in the NHL. Mitch Marner leads the team with 11 points followed by William Nylander with 10, John Tavares with nine and Auston Matthews with eight.
Jared McCann leads the Kraken with 14 points through ten games followed by Jordan Eberle and Brandon Montour with nine and Chandler Stephenson with eight.
After Thursday’s matchup, the Kraken have games against the Ottawa Senators, Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche over the next week.
