Washington State University’s star quarterback Gardner Minshew has been named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year.
He could still be named the Pac-12 MVP later Tuesday night. His coach, Mike Leach, has also been named Pac-12 Coach of the Year.

On Monday, he was looked over as a finalist for the Heisman trophy. Last week, he was in fifth place to win the Heisman at +5000 odds according to Bovada. ESPN also ranked him fifth, as did Bleacher Report.
The Mississippi native did take home another honor on Monday: the 2018 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, as the nation's top senior quarterback with exemplary character who excelled in scholastic and athletic achievements.
WSU had a memorable year. The team saw College GameDay come to campus for the first time ever. The team was picked to beat the Oregon Ducks and the Cougs followed through, winning 43-20.
