MOSCOW, Idaho — The Idaho Vandals will host a quarterfinals matchup in the Football Championships Subdivision (FCS) playoffs after earning the No. 4 overall seed in their championship.
The FCS Playoff Selection Committee made the announcement during the selection show on Sunday morning. The University of Idaho will host the winner of the Nicholls (La.) and Southern Illinois first round matchup.
This will be the first time U of I hosts a playoff game since hosting Boston in 1993, Idaho has played its last four playoff games on the road.
The Vandals will kick off their first playoff game at 7 p.m. PST.
Idaho was one of four Big Sky Conference teams to make the FCS Playoffs with Montana earning the No. 2 overall seed and Montana State earning the No. 6 overall seed. Sacramento State travels to North Dakota Saturday for their first-round game.
Tickets to the playoffs go on sale on Monday, Nov. 20 at 9 a.m. PST for season ticket holders. Tickets go on sale for the general public on Wednesday. For more information on tickets, click here.
