PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State head volleyball coach Jen Greeny has left the school and has been named the head coach of the West Virginia volleyball program.

Greeny was in charge of the Cougs for 13 years and led the team to eight consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.

She has compiled a 347-199 record in her career and led the Cougs to a 235-175 record in her tenure in Pullman.

The Davenport native also led the Cougs to top 25 finishes in each of the last four seasons.

This year under Greeny, WSU was 26-8 and made a sweet sixteen appearance for the second time in Greeny's tenure.

She was a two time PAC-12 co-coach of the year in 2016 and 2021.

Greeny leaves WSU as the second longest tenured head coach.

Greeny will head to Morgantown to be the fifth head coach in Mountaineer volleyball history.

"Thank you Jen Greeny for 13 years of excellence guiding Cougar volleyball to eight straight NCAA tournament appearances and two sweet sixteen appearances. We wish you nothing but success at West Virginia. Once a Coug, always a Coug," WSU athletic director Pat Chun said in a statement.

WSU will now begin a nationwide search for the program's next volleyball coach.
