WSU's Isaac Jones signs two-way deal with Sacramento Kings

Former Coug and Vandal Isaac Jones was not drafted in this year's 2024 NBA Draft, but has found a home in Northern California.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — State forward Isaac Jones has signed a two-way deal with the Sacramento Kings after not being drafted in the 2024 NBA Draft.

This means Jones has eligibility to play with both the Sacramento Kings and its G-league affiliate, the Stockton Kings.

Jones, an All-Pac-12 First Team selection, was Washington State's leading scorer and rebounder in the 2023-24 season helping guide the Cougars to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2008.

The fifth-year senior averaged 15.3 points per game, surpassing 1,000 career points in just two seasons of Division-I basketball. He finished the 2023-24 season with the 33rd best shooting percentage in the country at .575.

Before joining the Cougs in Pullman, Jones had a tremendous 2022-23 season down the road in Moscow with the Idaho Vandals.  He averaged 19.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game en-route to Big Sky Newcomer of the Year honors. Jones finished ninth in the nation in field goal percentage, shooting just under 63 percent from the field.
