PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State Cougars will look to shake off the frustration of last week’s loss against Oregon State.

In the team's final home game of the season, WSU will host the Wyoming Cowboys on Senior Day.

The now unranked Cougs bring an 8-3 record into Saturday's game while the Cowboys have a 2-9 record in 2024.

Game time, channel and how to watch

Here are the details for those wondering what channel the Washington State-Wyoming game is on.

The game between the Cowboys and Cougars kicks off in Pullman at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 30. You can watch the game over the air in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region on KSKN 22 The Spot.

Washington State Cougars vs. Oregon State Beavers

These two teams have matched up against one another seven times. Washington State has won five of those seven matchups, with the most recent game coming in 2018, when WSU beat Wyoming 41-19.

Washington State had its College Football Playoff hopes end two weeks ago after dropping a heartbreaker against New Mexico. Followed by last Saturday's loss against Oregon State, the Cougs come into this Saturday's game looking to end the regular season on a high note.

One of the high spots for the Cougs all season has been quarterback John Mateer. Mateer has completed 64% of his throws, and is just 43 yards away from 3,000 passing yards on the year. Mateer also has 42 total touchdowns on the year and over 3,700 total yards.

Ironically, Wyoming's last win came against New Mexico, where the Cowboys came away with the 49-45 win earlier this month. Kaden Anderson has been behind center for the Cowboys in the last four games, throwing for 955 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions this year. Sam Scott leads the Cowboys with 435 rushing yards, and Jaylen Sargent leads the team with 448 receiving yards.

Fun fact about this matchup: Head Coach Jake Dickert was defensive coordinator for the Cowboys from 2017-2019. Defensive line coach Pete Kaligis and chief of staff Brent Vernon also spent 13 seasons with the Cowboys respectively.

Following Saturday's game, the Cougs will wait to see who they'll play in an expected bowl game.
