PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State Cougar football team will be back in action on Friday for the first time since their thrilling Apple Cup victory over the University of Washington.
Friday's matchup will be the first game in 2024 for the Cougs against a Mountain West Conference opponent.

Friday’s game between the two schools is the 14th time the teams have played one another. The Cougs are 8-4-1 all-time against the Spartans with the most recent game being a 31-0 win by WSU in 2018.
