Former EWU wing Cedric Coward commits to WSU

Coward averaged 15.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in a breakout junior season in Cheney.

PULLMAN, Wash. — Former Eastern Washington wing Cedric Coward has become the fourth former Eag to follow David Riley to Pullman and commit to Washington State.

Coward averaged 15.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in a breakout junior season at EWU this past season en route to first-team All-Big Sky honors.

The 6'6" Fresno native joins teammates Ethan Price, LeJuan Watts and Dane Erikstrup who all previously transferred to WSU this offseason.

WSU had competition for Coward's services from Arizona and others, but ultimately Coward will follow his coach and teammates to Pullman.

The lone former Eag remaining in the transfer portal is Casey Jones.
