CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington men's basketball has landed its second transfer in as many days in Des Moines Community College transfer forward Angelo Winkel.
The 6'8" Iowan averaged 16.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore at DMCC. He is graded as one of the best junior college transfers in the country.
Winkel becomes the third player to transfer to EWU this offseason joining new head coach Dan Monson's son Maddox and Nevada transfer guard Tyler Powell.
Winkel shot 60 percent from the field last season.
