SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga women's basketball team will look to keep the ball rolling during their second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Zags will be playing on their home court in the McCarthey Athletic Center to a sold-out crowd.
The Bulldogs advanced to the second round of the tournament after a dominating win over UC Irvine on Saturday. Gonzaga hit 49.2% from the field and 30.4% from behind the arc.
With a win Gonzaga would advance to the round of 32, the Zags are set to play in the Kennel against #5 Utah (23-10).
Utah advances to the round of 32 after a win over #12 South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Saturday, 68-54.

The #4 Gonzaga Bulldogs vs. the #5 Utah Utes NCAA Tournament basketball game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25. The game will be played in Spokane at the McCarthey Athletic Center.
The game will air nationally on ESPN2. The game can also be streamed online via ESPN+.
Bulldogs vs. Utes
Monday's matchup between Gonzaga and Utah will be the tenth all-time meeting between the two teams. Utah has an edge with a 5-4 record in previous matchups. The Bulldogs won their last match-up with the Utes in 2022 at the Rainbow Wahine Showdown, 89-71.
The Gonzaga women’s leading scorer is Yvonne Ejim, who averages 20 points per game. In addition to Ejim, Brynna Maxwell, Kaylynne Truong, Kayleigh Truong and Eliza Hollingsworth all average double digits per game.
Utah's leading scorer is Alissa Pili, who averages 21 points per game. In addition to Pili, Kennady McQueen also averages double-digit points for the Utes.
The Utes average 77.7 points per game while giving up 61.5 points per game. Gonzaga averages 81 points per game while giving up 59.9 points per game.
