PULLMAN, Wash. — On Sunday, the NCAA Selection Sunday show announced that the No. 7 seed Washington State men's basketball team is facing off against the No. 10 seed Drake.
Who are the Drake Bulldogs?
From Des Moines, Iowa the Bulldogs won their conference tournament by four points to punch their ticket for the big dance. The team went 28-6 overall and 16-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference during the regular season.
This is their 7th tournament appearance in the NCAA Tournament and their 3rd appearance in the past four years.
Drake's leading scorer is #12 Tucker DeVries, averaging 21.8 points, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Drake has three more players averaging over 11 points per game.
