SPOKANE, Wash. — Those wanting to compete in the world's largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament have one last shot at signing up as registration for Hoopfest 2019 closes this Friday.
Registration is still open as long as there is space available in the division you wish to take part in, but the last day to sign up is Friday, May 31.
May 17 was the deadline for guaranteed entry into the 30th annual Hoopfest in Spokane.
Hoopfest is the world’s largest three-on-three basketball tournament. More than 20,000 players and several thousand volunteers participate every year. Hundreds of thousands of spectators watch the tournament.
There are four divisions a team can sign up for, including elite, high school, standard and build-your-own bracket.
Those interested in registering can do so on the Hoopfest website.
Since 1990, Hoopfest has built more than 30 community basketball courts in the region and donated over $1 million to local charities.
You only have to wait a little more than four weeks to play. Hoopfest is set for June 29-30 of this year.
Game on.
