Sports fans in Seattle and hockey fans across the state couldn't help but sink their teeth into news that the Glendale City Council voted to terminate their deal with the NHL's Arizona Coyotes. Since the Sonics moved to Oklahoma City in 2008, there has been the desire to get another professional team in Seattle. That chatter has included the potential addition of an NHL franchise in the Emerald City. Wednesday's news brought that conversation to the forefront.
