Ridgeline wide receiver Brayden Allen breaks record for most receiving yards in GSL history

Allen needed just 67 receiving yards to become the all-time GSL leader in career receiving yards.

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash — History was made Friday night in the Spokane high school football scene.

In a pivotal rivalry matchup against Central Valley, Ridgeline High School wide receiver Brayden Allen broke the record for the most receiving yards in Greater Spokane League (GSL) history.

Allen needed just 67 receiving yards to become the all-time GSL leader in career receiving yards.

This isn't the only record Allen has broken in his career, as he also holds GSL records for career receptions, receptions in a single season and receptions in a single game.

Allen broke the previous record of 2,182 yards set by Shadle Park's Tanner Pauly in 2013.

Last week, Allen's QB, Landon Garner, passed Brett Rypien for the second-most passing yards in GSL history.
